Virginia County Records Surname Index

Originally published between 1905 and 1913, the "Southern Pedigree" series numbered ten volumes that provided detailed information regarding some families in the southern United States. This database, volume eight of the series, is an index to a variety of Virginia county records before the twentieth century. Compiled by William Crozier, it contains pedigree information regarding nearly 2000 families. In addition to providing the surname, each record includes the reference to the county record where the surname appeared.
