This collection includes various records from the sheriff's office in Tulare County, California. Among them are jail registers, registers of actions, descriptions of criminals, a coroner's register, cash books, records of meals, warrants of arrest, and other books. Photos are included for several of the books, and there are some wanted posters and newspaper clippings. Registers of prisoner descriptions (with photos) from the California state prisons at Folsom and San Quentin are included as well.
