About Saskatchewan, Canada, Residents Index (SRI), 1800-2012

For more than four decades the Saskatchewan Genealogical Society (SGS) has been assisting family historians with roots in Saskatchewan and elsewhere and preserving, indexing, cataloging, and archiving the historic records of the province and beyond.

The Saskatchewan Residents Index (SRI) is an index to names found in cemeteries, local history books, Cummins Maps (landowner maps held at the Saskatchewan Archives Board), voter lists, and other books that list Saskatchewan residents. Currently there are nearly 3 million names in the database.
