About Germany, Jewish "Training" Centers, 1934-1938

As Jews began trying to leave Germany starting in 1933, many did not have vocational or other skills needed to qualify for visas. Zionist and other organizations set up at least 29 training centers around Germany to help young people acquire agricultural or professional skills that would allow them emigrate. This database includes name for about 1,700 trainees from some of these centers.
