Wrexham, Wales Older Nonconformity History

This database contains a history of the nonconformist churches of the city of Wrexham, located in Denbighshire in northern Wales. The term "nonconformist" refers to those that did not conform to the Church of England. Although the Roman Catholics could technically be referred to as nonconformist, the term generally is only used when referring to Protestants, as the Roman Catholics were referred to by a different name.
