This collection contains various American Indian records held by the Oklahoma Historical Society. Among the tribes and nations included in the records are Cherokee, Choctaw, Creek, Kiowa, Quapaw, Sac and Fox, Arapaho, Shawnee, and Cheyenne. Records include marriage licenses, certificates, marriage cards, affidavits, census, citizenship, and enrollment records. Details vary according to record type.
