About U.S., Registers of Patients at Naval Hospitals, 1812-1934

This database contains registers of patients on ships and at Navy and Marine Corps hospitals and dispensaries. They vary in form and content but usually list the patient's name, rate or rank, age, birthplace, and the disease or injury and the disposition of the case (discharge to duty or another hospital; discharge for disability; or death). Later volumes include case numbers. Registers are included for sites both in and outside the United States.
